Well, the semester is over and it’s time for the boys to enjoy a little time off to be with their families.
The team has racked up 10 wins and 7 losses with 8 wins in ACHA games. Each win is especially hard fought since most games have been played with only an hour or two of practice at a rink 100 miles away. It just goes to show that we have a team that is extremely talented.
Next semester finds the boys heading to Arizona and Missouri, as well as closer to home, Dallas and Odessa. Because the Arizona and Missouri games require more travel than usual, the Texas Tech Hockey Team would appreciate any donations their fans can offer. Chartering a bus to Missouri has already been quoted at between $3500 and $4000. Without ticket sales, the players have to come up with this money out of their own pockets. The team hopes their fans can join them at any and all games to help cheer them on. Fan support is very important to the morale of the team.
